Why does my receiver click when I turn it on?

-Why does my receiver make a click sound when I turn it on?It is the power on relay. Many receivers have a relay that actually makes the power connection to the AC voltage instead of a switch. The relay can also delay the speaker connection for a split second so that there is no "thump" heard in your speakers.



The click is normal.Absolutely normal... like what the other answer says! =D
