I'm returning my Bose, what do you guys think about the Onkyo HT-S9300THX Integrated System ?

-I recently bought a Bose Acoustimass 10 IV, but after looking into it more it seems that Bose is not nearly what I thought it was. I'm returning it.



After looking at many different sources I found this bad boy, what do you guys think?

(I have a room that is about 20' by 15' begging for good quality sound)





Onkyo HT-S9300THX Integrated SystemTrust me, ANYTHING is better than BOSE. BOSE is nothing but a "Hyundai with a Cadillac price." I know. I had a BOSE sound system before at home and in the vehicle.



Onkyo is amazing for the price range you're getting it. That sound system that you're trying to get is definitely a WIN WIN! And since it's THX certified, you know it's going to sound amazing!



Did you ever notice that BOSE NEVER won a THX certification?

Another brand you should consider is an Infinity sound system. Those things also blow my mind!
It is a nice system and better than those home theater in a box. The speakers are not quite as good. May I recommend an Onkyo receiver say a 608 and a set of Klipsch speakers. Klipsch comes only with a 5.o or 5.1 satellite speakers. Or you can look at a JBL, Infinity, Definitive Technology and Polk Audio. Go online to Home Theater and read the reviews on receivers and speakers. I use an Onkyo receiver 5007 and a Pioneer Elite with Energy speakers and Klipsch quintet, along with Infinity flat speakers that are from the 90's with another Elite receiver. While my home theater are Martin Logan, Krell processor and Cinapro power amps. All was purchase with the review from Home theater magazine. Hope this will help you out.
A really good receiver with quality speakers and powered subwoofer, this is a steal. HDMI switching and great upconversion for standard material. You'll have it around for the next 15-20 years, or until they create 30.5 speaker surround sound. It's being replaced by a newer model soon so take advantage of the lowered price before it gets discontinued. Bose is overrated. It's like a Land Rover, pretty, expensive and has the worst reliability but has the most hardcore followers. I don't get it.
