How do I adjust the bass and treble levels on my Pioneer VSX-515 receiver?

-This might be a long shot but I figured I would ask anyway just in case someone has it or is familiar with these pioneer receivers. The specs on this Receiver say it has independent bass and treble controls but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it. I see where it gives me the option to raise the volume intensity of each speaker but that's different. I want to know how to control the bass and treble. Anyone??

ThanksI believe what they mean by independent bass and treble controls is just that - you have a bass control knob and a treble control knob rather than a 'tone' control. From what you are asking it appears to me that you are trying to adjust bass and treble for each speaker independently? I am unaware of any surround sound system that has that type of adjustment. Most receivers today does not have a separate tone control for the bass or treble control. They do however have separate control for the volume of each speakers and the subwoofer. Some have a equalizer control that can change to tone of the music, but they usually come in on the higher end receivers. Check you owners manual and see. Hope this will help you out.
