HDMI sound problem. What should I do?

-I am having a problem with HDMI audio. When I swtch songs or switch sounds it turns off and I have to disable it and then enable it in the sound. I have a windows 7 and THX tru studio sound card. plz help! Thanks.Unfortunately HDMI is a very poor technology and will soon be replaced by HDbasT. HDMI needs to make a "handshake" meaning the components hooked together via HDMI must detect each other to work. When no signal is detected between songs or switching the "handshake" is broken and the handshake is not being re-established. This is actually a software issue and some sort of update is need for your sound card or OS. When you are working with 2 very poor technologies (Microsoft Windows and HDMI technology) results can be expected to be sketchy. Look to update your sound card and see if this works. If not ditch HDMI for analogue or go coax for sound and component for video.
