-al of a sudden my dvds have no sound... i cant figure out whats up?Make sure that the cable from the dvd player to the receiver are properly secured to the port. DVD players only sends a signal to a tv or receiver and then the tv or receiver process the signal to create sound. Hope this will help you out.
Make sure that the yellow output plug is plugged into your tv properly.
